Large leaf is not as strong as the Small Leaf Assam, but holds a good rounded flavour with quality.
Brew with freshly drawn boiled water for 3-5 minutes.
Assam tea is named after the region of its production. It is mostly grown at (or near) sea level.
It is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour and strong, bright colour. This tea is often mixed with others in blends.
Advertised as a 'breakfast' tea in the UK it is often taken with milk (and sugar to taste).
Excellent
Used Pollards for years. Excellent Service. Keep up the good work.
I’ve had this tea from Pollards before and always enjoy it. It’s got a rounded full bodied smooth flavour with the ability to revitalise the faculties part way through a working day. A very rewarding brew.
We have been buying Pollards tea since we moved to Sheffield in 1973 and have never had a reason to buy tea anywhere else!
Malty and delicious its the only tea for me
