Very pleasant and recommended. Not as acidic as the Italian blend. Good flavour and a more "traditional" coffee taste if that is what you prefer compared to some of the blends with a more fruity or spicy overtone.
An interesting little blend. It manages to showcase the best of it's ingredients and adds a bit of magic. The sweetness of the Keemun, the lightly toasted Oolong, and strangely, though it isn't in there, the freshness of a Darjeeling.
It is a very polite tea, but soon you'll realise that somehow, it is always the first one to run out.
This is the only one of 4 different coffees I bought from Pollards that I've tried so far. Since I went "decaf only", I've found some tasteless coffees. But this isn't one of them, it has a nice tang which doesn't disappear when I swallow. Very nice! It's on my "repeat" list.
This is VANILLA with a capital V. and A , and... No "hint of" "delicate bouqet" It has one job, and fulfils it with verve. It took me back to my teenage days, when scented tea was all the rage, and vanlla, cream and atrawberry were the the only available flavours.
There is nothing wrong with the tea itself, but I get it for the scent and the memories.
Always use to buy tea at Pollards when living in the Peaks next April District - first online purchase and will always do again
As a confirmed drinker of full-bodied coffee (Monsooned Malabar, Sumatra Java etc.) I thought that Old Brown Java would be of an ilk but I was sadly mistaken. My palate found it verging on tasteless! I experimented with stronger brews (up to 18g/cup) but to no avail. I accept that my own coffee taste is purely personal but I will place my own experience out there for what it's worth!
I’ve tried a few coffees from Pollards now and this one just hits the spot. Just the right balance between medium and strong that gives it that perfect coffee after taste. Will definitely be getting more. I highly recommend.
I like to try different coffees, but Ti'Amo has become my "default" coffee and is my everyday drink. Good texture as an espresso and equally good with milk.
