We like Brazil. It will join our growing repeat order list from pollards.
It has a medium/strong flavour without being bitter.
It was around 45 years ago I found Pollards in Leeds and got chatting to Phil.
I liked coffee but not the instant variety (probably not seen a coffee bean?). After telling Phil about my likes and dislikes, he recommended an African, specifically Kenyon.
I have been drinking mainly African ever since. I think getting older my likes have changed slightly in that a darker roast is now preferred. I have tried a few different coffees from Pollards based on the reviews, the latest being Monsoon Malabar (Very good!!).
I only buy from Pollards and have never been let down. I would encourage people to try different coffees, even a small bag, they will not be disappointed.
Best wishes to all at Pollards!
I bought this coffee, alongside some Costa Rican to try to reproduce the old Charles Street Kenya-CostaRica blend. Unfortunately... It smelled so nice when I opened it that it got drunk! Great stuff!! Will try again for the blend later...
Quick delivery and flawless taste love it better than the Colombian beans my local café uses. Muy Bacano (Just dropping in some Colombian slang for the comment).
After growing up in Sheffield and remembering the coffee roasting in the Charles st branch, and many days in the cathedral one - lovely to order the coffee home. Really good espresso and amazing flavour.
This makes a great delicate brew. Some days are Earl Grey days others are Special Assam days but every day is a Pollards day.
Order arrived in good time and undamaged. Have tried several pods already and they all taste top choice.
I bought this tea from the shop a few months ago. I live in West Wales and have been trying to save myself from reaching the end of the bag for weeks by supplementing it with other leaf teas. Today I reached paper bottom and it has made my week to find out I don't have to live without it, it can come to me! Thank you so much Pollards for your mail order service. It'll be chocolate tea for me every day of the week.
The tea: it is a lovely light tea but with a rich chocolatey depth of flavour. As a rule I do not get on well with flavoured tea, but this one is a wonderful exception. Give it a go I say.
Loved these. Deep caramel. You can taste the quality of the growers and roasters. The environmental consideration is a tasty cherry on the top.
Good price and speedily delivered but this coffee was not for me. To me there was a slightly acidic under taste though my wife enjoyed it. Previously I have enjoyed their basic Italian coffee.
The Ceylon tea under discussion has a crisp, clean flavour and good colour - I will probably order it again, but I do like to vary the brew occasionally.
Perfect blend for breakfast time or an afternoon cup of coffee with homemade cake!
Good range of coffee pods , great tasting coffee and quick delivery. Be even better with free delivery on all orders!
