Sumatra Lintong Toba

Sumatra Lintong Toba is my variety choice it as a mild smooth texture I use a mocha stove top perculator we have a Sage one shot grinder set to 26 on the grinding scale we have an Induction hob set to number4 I look forward to getting up in the morning to start my day with a mug of Sumatra Lintong Toba many thanks

Very happy. Cant wait to try them

Good but not my favourite

Taste is taste and personal. I find this mild and as Puccini is one of my favourites, a bit weak. As a through the day coffee I can see its appeal but not for me. Pollards quality not in doubt!

Flavoursome

I'm still working my way through the coffees to find the right one for me. This is medium bodied, but not bitter. OK, but not stunning. Electric espresso machine used.

Mild

Just a bit too mellow for me, used in an electric espresso machine.

Good service and coffee

Smooth taste, excellent service!

Having discovered Pollards back in February 2026, whilst on a visit with my daughter to the University of Sheffield, I have been a regular online buyer of their coffees. My favourite has become Monsoon Malabar, but I wanted to try a decaffeinated coffee for drinking later in the day.
I have recently tried Mountain Water decaffeinated and am not disappointed. Although it may not quite have the depth of flavour of Monsoon Malabar, it still provides a decent cup, smooth and without a bitter aftertaste. I would recommend if you are in need of an alternative to your caffeinated version. As always, the service, communication and delivery from Pollards is exceptional.

Nice but not my favourite

This is the 6th different coffee ive tried from Pollards and whilst it's great, it's not my favourite, that accolade goes to Puccini but this is still really good and very nice with milk based coffee. I drink Flat white regularly and this blend gives a nice taste, not too strong or bitter which most people will enjoy. Worth a try.

So far so good taste the same from the previous shop in town I was buying from but for lot less money 👍👍

Growing to like

Initial thought were this wasn’t for me (not sure why) but a few pots later I have grown to enjoy it more. As usual, good service and I appreciate checks Pollards make if I had forgotten to check which grind I need.

One of my favourites

Pretty well all of Pollards’ blends are good to me. The Puccini is a regular for me although I do wander through other beans, this keeps being on my list.

Great Gift

This was a gift for a coffee loving friend, so I haven’t personally tasted any of the coffees. However, he says that they’re all good. Customer service was great and delivery was fast. I would definitely recommend Pollards.

Roast too dark

I have had a regular mixed batch of coffee from Pollards for years, This used to be one of my favourites but the roast has gone quite dark with an oily sheen. I have asked about it and any change has been denied. It is sold as medium but I just do not think it is.

Really nice

Really nice!
My husbands reply when I asked him to review the tea (I'm not a tea drinker)
So good we now also order for his pal.

Stuck in the Monsoon Mallabar rut for yonks.

I think i actually prefer this blend

Is MM the prosecco of coffee beans? I have no idea , being teetotal.

This blend is my new favourite favourite

Copacetic

I purchased this during the great Monsoon Mallabar famine of June 2026.

A darker roast than my normal choices.
It reminded me of dark Kenyan roasts of my youth.

It is now going to feature as a regular .

In summary. Top hole!

Italian Roast

The best quality coffee

I have tried the Italian and Puccini coffees from Pollards both taste amazing, smooth and rich with the added strength with the Italian Roast. Reasonably priced compared to other leading coffee brands. Won't buy anything else now. Plus I love they are a small local firm.

Ti'Amo great with Moma oat milk

Brewed on modded Gaggia classic. Really surprised by this coffee. It made a milk style espresso drink that was really tasty and enjoyable. 5 star all round.

The beans from Pollards are always fresh and delicious. It’s a shame they are delivered by Royal Mail who repeatedly leave the package in my garden despite me repeatedly asking them not to.

Just as good by mail order

I have been using this roast for a couple of years now and usually collect in person. Postal delivery is fast and convenient to get the same powerful brew without the miles.

A lovely tea

Love orange BOP small leaf. We drink no other tea in this house! Pollards are great to deal with.
