Classic Dark Roast. Really cuts through milk. Just have to adjust shot parameters to suit your palate. Value for money.
Opened the bag. Found the amount to put in my cafetière and waited 4 minutes. The taste was amazing. Very nice indeed. I will be restocking once this has gone for sure.i have this at anytime of the day but prefer morning coffee.
Always thought Monsoon Malabar was my favourite until I tried this. Strong but smooth with a nice chocolatey aftertaste. Very similar to Monsoon but with a slight difference. Love it.
Bought this for my mum, she loves it and says it’s a lot nicer than the Blue Lady tea she has tried elsewhere. Pollards tea is always very fresh, and I really appreciate that you sell a plastic free option.
I love your coffee and they are very competitive on price.
Thank you. Pollards
I am trying a few different blends from Pollards and this is the first one at this time. It’s pretty good with good strength of flavour without being bitter and good in the mouth.
Sumatra Lintong Toba is my variety choice it as a mild smooth texture I use a mocha stove top perculator we have a Sage one shot grinder set to 26 on the grinding scale we have an Induction hob set to number4 I look forward to getting up in the morning to start my day with a mug of Sumatra Lintong Toba many thanks
Taste is taste and personal. I find this mild and as Puccini is one of my favourites, a bit weak. As a through the day coffee I can see its appeal but not for me. Pollards quality not in doubt!
I'm still working my way through the coffees to find the right one for me. This is medium bodied, but not bitter. OK, but not stunning. Electric espresso machine used.
Very nice coffee, would buy it again, nice and smooth no bitterness, highly recommend.
Having discovered Pollards back in February 2026, whilst on a visit with my daughter to the University of Sheffield, I have been a regular online buyer of their coffees. My favourite has become Monsoon Malabar, but I wanted to try a decaffeinated coffee for drinking later in the day.
I have recently tried Mountain Water decaffeinated and am not disappointed. Although it may not quite have the depth of flavour of Monsoon Malabar, it still provides a decent cup, smooth and without a bitter aftertaste. I would recommend if you are in need of an alternative to your caffeinated version. As always, the service, communication and delivery from Pollards is exceptional.
This is the 6th different coffee ive tried from Pollards and whilst it's great, it's not my favourite, that accolade goes to Puccini but this is still really good and very nice with milk based coffee. I drink Flat white regularly and this blend gives a nice taste, not too strong or bitter which most people will enjoy. Worth a try.
So far so good taste the same from the previous shop in town I was buying from but for lot less money 👍👍
Initial thought were this wasn’t for me (not sure why) but a few pots later I have grown to enjoy it more. As usual, good service and I appreciate checks Pollards make if I had forgotten to check which grind I need.
Pretty well all of Pollards’ blends are good to me. The Puccini is a regular for me although I do wander through other beans, this keeps being on my list.
This was a gift for a coffee loving friend, so I haven’t personally tasted any of the coffees. However, he says that they’re all good. Customer service was great and delivery was fast. I would definitely recommend Pollards.
I have had a regular mixed batch of coffee from Pollards for years, This used to be one of my favourites but the roast has gone quite dark with an oily sheen. I have asked about it and any change has been denied. It is sold as medium but I just do not think it is.
Really nice!
My husbands reply when I asked him to review the tea (I'm not a tea drinker)
So good we now also order for his pal.
Stuck in the Monsoon Mallabar rut for yonks.
I think i actually prefer this blend
Is MM the prosecco of coffee beans? I have no idea , being teetotal.
This blend is my new favourite favourite
