Rich but smooth taste and a nutty flavour
One of my favourites, although to be honest I've never had one I didn't like from Pollards. I always choose from the 'espresso' or 'strong' ranges and buy 8 x 250g bags about once a month. Fabulous coffee & fabulous service every time. I've been using them for years and don't buy coffee from anywhere else now!
We drink lots of espresso and have a Sage machine. This blend is delicious.

The bean are excellent and delivery is very quick. I really enjoy the Ethiopian Mocha and drink a couple of double shots daily.
Not as sharp in taste as Sth American/Italian coffees,but more subtle and smooth to my palate I always add 2 handfuls of italian to 5 of african and give a short re-roast. The best coffee I've tasted!!!
Puccini is another five star favourite of ours. It has lots of flavour without tasting too strong or bitter in anyway.
We have a growing list of favourite coffee from Pollards this one has always been in our top five.
The rich, oily, perfumed taste of a good dark roast is hard to find these days. Thanks to Pollards for their hard work and respect for the tea and coffee tradition. This is a luxury you can enjoy every morning.
I first came across this coffee when visiting Durham and I love it, so glad that I can buy it online and the delivery was really quick so I don’t run out!
This coffee has a smooth rich flavour with no bitter aftertaste. A very good coffee to have in the morning over breakfast.
I have used special leaf Assam for a couple of years now. A refreshing tea, always great to drink. The used leaves go on my compost heap so nothing is waisted. Highly recommended.
I’ve bought so many different coffees but have found them difficult to extract using a home bean to cup coffee machine (sage Barista). However, these beans are great tasting, easy to dial on my machine and great value. I’ve found my long term supplier! 👌
